As the sun sets over the Farm 1701 pastures, the hog herd enjoys their evening meal in the warm glow of dusk. The multicolored pigs gather around as we scatter feed, enjoying the cool evening and open space. It's one of our favorite moments on the ranch, when the sky is painted in shades of orange and pink and the animals are calm and content. Scenes like this remind us why pasture-raised pork tastes so good—it comes from animals raised humanely and naturally.
