These pasture-raised pork chops are seared to perfection and finished with a tangy-sweet apple cider glaze.
Ingredients:
- 2 pasture-raised pork chops
- 1 cup apple cider
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
1. Pat the pork chops dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
2. Heat a drizzle of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chops for 3-4 minutes per side until browned.
3. Reduce heat to medium-low and continue cooking until the internal temperature reaches 145°F. Remove chops to a plate and tent with foil.
4. In the same skillet, add the apple cider, apple cider vinegar, honey or maple syrup, minced garlic, and rosemary. Bring to a simmer and cook until reduced by half, forming a syrupy glaze.
5. Return the pork chops to the skillet and spoon the glaze over them, cooking for another 1-2 minutes to coat.
6. Serve the pork chops with additional apple cider glaze drizzled on top and enjoy.
